المملكة: Hajj 1446 .. 6 airports, 3 million air seat and 35 trains in the service of the guests of Rahman

The transportation and logistical services system in the Kingdom announced the completion of its preparations and complete readiness to receive the pilgrims of the Sacred House of God for the Hajj season in 1446 AH, confirming the provision of integrated services across its various sides that perform vital roles in providing logistical support and meeting all the needs of the guests of the Most Merciful coming in land, sea and air.
In the air transport sector, the General Authority of Civil Aviation reported the allocation of all its services to serve the pilgrims by preparing six main airports for receiving them, and providing more than three million seats, in addition to schedule about seven thousand casual flights.
The Holding Airports Company completed its preparations by equipping eleven travel halls distributed on the six international airports designated to receive the guests of Rahman.
For its part, Saudi Airlines announced its readiness by providing more than a million seats and allocating 158 aircraft prepared to transport pilgrims from all over the world.

In terms of railways, Saudi Iron Airlines “Sar” revealed the readiness of the Haramain Express Train to serve pilgrims across 35 trains, which is one of the fastest trains of the world, in addition to the readiness of the Holy Places Train to serve two million passengers.

In a development step aimed at enriching the experience of pilgrims and facilitating their travel procedures, “Sar” launched an innovative service that allows the linking of the Haramain Express Train reservations with “flynas” flights, so that a unified ticket includes the two flights through a unified reservation system, which enhances integration between transportation and supports digital transformation and raises customer experience.
With regard to maritime transport, the Ports General Authority has allocated 436 employees in Jeddah Islamic Port in preparation for receiving nearly five thousand pilgrims expected to arrive across the sea.
In the land transport sector, the General Transport Authority has completed its preparations by preparing more than 25 thousand buses and preparing more than nine thousand taxis to transport pilgrims.

Field monitoring at the entrances of Mecca and Medina

More than 180 field observers were allocated distributed over more than twenty sites at the entrances to Makkah and Madinah and the Holy Places, to ensure commitment to the requirements and provide a safe and comfortable transportation experience for pilgrims. In parallel, the General Authority of Roads has completed its readiness by carrying out maintenance work for more than 7400 km of roads leading to the holy sites, and to examine and maintain 274 bridges, to ensure the safety and flow of the movement of the guests of Rahman coming through the border ports and the internal road network.
To provide logistical support, the Saudi Post announced its readiness to receive and deliver the parcels by preparing 57 sales outlets and providing 62 cars to transport the guests of the guests of Rahman, with the aim of facilitating the arrival of the parcels quickly and efficiently and meeting the needs of pilgrims completely during their faith trip.
