“Najd Gate” .. a traditional window that moves visitors from Jakarta to the heart of the kingdom

In a scene that reflects the depth of the Saudi heritage and its visual and architectural richness, the “Najdiya region” caught the attention of visitors within the activities of the “Bridges of the Fif” exhibition organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance in the Indonesian capital, Jakarta, where it came as the first areas offered in the exhibition, to form a visual gate and a rich heritage body that receives the visitor with the authentic Saudi hospitality spirit.
This region was designed with an architecture inspired by the ancient Najdi style, one of the most ancient construction patterns in the Kingdom, as the elements of the clay architecture were re -embodied in its huge towers and its carefully decorated facades to capture the visitor with its exact details, and the pavilion includes a large screen to display documentaries about the Kingdom and its heritage, along with a wall to display pictures of the kingdom’s leaders, in a letter symbolizing the national cohesion The inspiring leadership that made this civilized and cultural glory.

Historical journey

The gate is transferred to the Kingdom’s airspace in the middle of the last century, where the colors of clay and the designs of “balconies”, “milk” and “heritage clothes” are a vibrant scene, and the design also shows a clear effort in the integration of architectural aesthetic and cultural message, which enhances visitors’ understanding of the rooted Saudi identity.
The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, “the organizing authority of the exhibition”, has been keen that this region be a visual and spiritual introduction that reflects the privacy and comprehensiveness of the exhibition, as it reviews stages of the development of Saudi society and its values, and the Kingdom’s religious and cultural status that derives its strength from serving the Two Holy Mosques and adhering to moderation and moderation.
The Fifth Grand Gallery in Indonesia comes within a series of international exhibitions that aim to enhance civilized communication between the Kingdom and the world, and to convey a realistic image of moderate Islam and rich Saudi culture, within the framework of the Kingdom’s 2030 vision that exalts the value of cultural openness and cognitive exchange.
The exhibition continued to receive visitors of various nationalities daily at the Istiqlal Mosque in Jakarta for 10 days, the number of visitors exceeded one million and 250 thousand visitors, amid a large interaction of visitors who expressed their great admiration for the modern heritage, historical and technical shows that embody the cultural and religious depth of the Kingdom.
