Ajman businesswomen: support entrepreneurship and empowering women are a strategic priority

Ajman, May 5/ WAM/ Ajman Business Women Council announced the registration of the rights of intellectual works for the “Rafouf” and “my car” initiatives at the Ministry of Economy, in a move that reflects the council’s commitment to enabling its members through value -added initiatives that contribute to supporting the growth of their projects and expanding their business.

The council affirmed, in a press statement issued today, that supporting the role of women in innovative entrepreneurship represents one of its strategic goals, by providing an environment that stimulates innovation and recording the rights of intellectual works to its initiatives and projects of its members from business owners, in a way that contributes to protecting intellectual property, enhancing competitiveness and sustaining projects.

For her part, Dr. Amna Khalifa Al Ali, President of the Ajman Women’s Business Council, stressed the council’s keenness to protect innovation in its initiatives and projects of its members, by enhancing awareness of the importance of registering intellectual property rights as a strategic means to ensure rights and support trademarks and national products.

She said that the council is working to direct and support members to benefit from intellectual property registration services in cooperation with the concerned authorities, noting that this trend is part of the economic and knowledge empowerment that the council seeks to consolidate in a sustainable manner.

Dr. Amna Al Ali explained that the “Rafouf” initiative aims to support the council members from business owners, by providing 6 marketing outlets to display their products and enhance their presence in the local market, while the “My Car” initiative provides a service financing service to buy a good loan system to facilitate delivery operations and expand commercial activity.
