"Fujairah Scouts" Organizes an initiative to support the sick, the elderly and children

Fujairah, June 6 / WAM / The Fujairah Scouts Commission, in cooperation with Fujairah Hospital, organized a community initiative that included visiting the sick, elderly and children at Fujairah Hospital, providing moral support and symbolic gifts to them, in addition to spreading a positive atmosphere that enhances hope and raises morale, with the participation of a number of the Commission’s employees, who expressed their pride in contributing to such humanitarian initiatives.
The initiative comes within the framework of the Fujairah Scouts Commission’s keenness to establish a culture of volunteer work, and to enhance the presence of Scouts in community initiatives that touch the needs of different groups of society, especially those in need of psychological and moral support, in a way that reflects the authentic Emirati values of compassion, cohesion and cooperation.
The Fujairah Scouts Commission confirmed that this initiative reflects its continued commitment to supporting community and humanitarian programs, and strengthening partnerships with health and local institutions, noting that scouting work is not limited to training and skills, but rather extends to be a humanitarian message that contributes to serving the nation and society.
