The UAE and Croatia are looking to enhance economic relations

Zagreb, May 5/ WAM/ His Excellency Abdullah Bin Touq Al -Marri, Minister of Economy, with His Excellency Anti Shosjar, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development in the Republic of Croatia, discussed ways to develop bilateral cooperation in various fields and economic sectors, which contributes to the growth and sustainability of the economy of the two friendly countries.
This came during a visit to His Excellency Abdullah bin Touq to a number of European countries, to discuss ways to enhance joint cooperation in the sectors of the new economy, tourism and advanced technology.
His Excellency Abdullah Bin Touq stressed that the UAE has paid great attention to enhancing its economic openness and diversifying its partnerships with various countries of the world, including emerging economies in Europe, noting that the UAE and Croatia are brought together in common visions of cooperation in a number of strategic sectors that the state is keen to develop during the next stage, including renewable energy, logistical services and creative industries.
He explained that the two countries possess various economic capabilities that can be built on, especially in the tourism sector, which represents one of the most promising sectors in both countries, because of its opportunities to exchange experiences and experiences that characterize the UAE and Croatia.
He pointed out that the meeting comes in a mutual interest in creating a flexible and attractive business environment for investment and enhancing communication between the two business community in the two countries, reflecting the Emirati -Croatian desire to upgrade bilateral relations to higher levels during the next stage.
His Excellency the Minister of Economy called for motivating the private sector on both sides to explore promising opportunities, and to develop communication channels between the UAE and Croatian business community, to keep pace with common aspirations.
Ibn Touq expressed his aspiration to exchange best practices in development policies, in a way that contributes to supporting sustainable development efforts in the two countries, especially in light of the growing economic and investment exchange between the two countries during the last period.
The meeting witnessed the discussion of a number of major axes, which included research on available opportunities to support the growth of partnership in the value -added sectors, especially advanced technology, renewable energy and tourism.
The capabilities of cooperation in the areas of infrastructure and logistical services were also discussed, and the exchange of experiences in developing organizational frameworks supporting the new economy.
