The President of the State receives a phone call from the Cypriot President

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, received a phone call from Nikos Christodolides, President of the Republic of Cyprus, during which they discussed aspects of cooperation and joint work between the two countries and the opportunities to enhance their relations, especially in the economic and development fields, to serve their common interests, within the framework of the strategic partnership relations that unite the two countries.

The Cypriot President also expressed, during the call, thanks to His Highness and his appreciation for the UAE initiative to provide Cyprus with mobile water desalination stations that contribute to meeting its fresh water needs, stressing the importance of this initiative in promoting the ability of Cyprus to face challenges in the water field.

The two sides also reviewed a number of regional and international issues in common concern and exchanged views on them.
