Kim Kardashian is ready to “confront” her attackers in the theft case in Paris

Reality TV star Kim Kardashian, who is supposed to arrive in Paris on May 13 to testify in a trial on charges of the theft in the French capital in 2016, confirmed that she is ready to “confront” her attackers, according to what her lawyers told AFP on Monday.
“She wants to attend the trial personally, confront those who assaulted her, and intends to do so with respect and courage,” said the French Kardashian agent, Lyonor Enerik, and Jonatan Matto, who represent her alongside her American lawyer Michael Rhodes.
The two lawyers refused to make any detail about the content of her upcoming testimony, “so that everyone can hear the novel directly from Kardashian.”

Events of theft

The American businesswoman who was following the course of the first week of the trial will speak, “What happened during that hideous night”, on the night of 2 to 3 October 2016, when she was stolen and was restricted and left inside her room in a Paris hotel during the Fashion Week.
The value of the stolen goods amounted to nine million euros (ten million dollars) of jewelry, the largest theft that one individual was exposed to in France 20 years.
The lawyers emphasized that Kardashian (44 years old) expressed “great gratitude” of what the French authorities did and the way in which he was dealt with with the incident, and indicated that she “will abide by legal procedures and will answer all questions.”

Case details

On April 28, the alleged defendants began to be tried. After a week, it was devoted to hearing the lives of the ten defendants, the criminal court in Paris will move to the details of the case, starting with hearing the investigators on Monday and Tuesday.
Then you will listen to the witnesses, and on May 13 to the civilian parties, that is, the receptionist at the hotel where the theft took place, the help of Kardashian who hid during the robbery, and finally Kim Kardashian herself.
The ruling is supposed to be issued on May 23.
