المملكة: 6 sessions .. Launching a program to enhance research integrity at Umm Al -Qura University

Umm Al -Qura University, represented by the Deanship of Graduate Studies, launched a training program entitled “Towards a fair research environment: our role in preserving scientific values.”
This comes within its efforts to enhance the culture of academic integrity and consolidate the research practices responsible for faculty and graduate students, during the period 5-7 May 2025.

Six training sessions

The program includes six training sessions offered by a number of specialized academics from various university colleges, and the sessions are dealing with various axes.

Scientific research ethics, preventive directives to reduce intellectual thefts, include responsible dealing with artificial intelligence, in addition to scientific documentation skills and intellectual property rights.

Improving the quality of scientific research outputs

The program aims to raise the level of institutional awareness of the importance of adhering to academic standards, which contributes to improving the quality of scientific research outputs, and ensuring a scientific environment characterized by transparency and credibility.
This step comes within the university’s orientation towards consolidating a research system based on integrity and professionalism, in line with the targets of developing higher education in the Kingdom, and enhances the university’s position in indicators of academic and research excellence.
