Dubai Civil Aviation reveals its new institutional identity

The Dubai Civil Aviation Authority announced the launch of its new institutional identity, in a qualitative step that reflects its ambitious career and future aspirations, within a comprehensive framework for the modernization of the authority’s visual system, in line with Dubai’s leading position in the global civil aviation sector.

On this occasion, His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, said: “We launched the new institutional identity of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, with a character that combines originality and innovation, and its slogan: (Return to the beginnings with new horizons), in a move symbolizing our aspirations towards a more advanced stage, which enhances our global presence, and keeps pace with the aspirations of Dubai in the civil aviation sector, without giving up the depth of the link with our history We see it as a basis for our future. ”

The slogan of the new institutional identity “returning to the beginnings with new prospects” comes in an expression of the authority’s commitment to its institutional roots that belong to the establishment of the Civil Aviation Department in the seventies, and the slogan reflects its future vision towards consolidating leadership, and promoting innovation in a sector in which the UAE has achieved a qualitative leadership in what is one of the most prominent economic sectors in the world.

The identity was designed using one of the Arabic lines used in the past, and it is inspired by the first visual designation of the Civil Aviation Department in the 1970s, to express a perfect balance between originality and modernity in institutional work.

The new visual identity also includes integrated elements of colors, lines, patterns and symbols, in addition to applications for digital media and official publications.

For his part, the Director General of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Mohammed Abdullah Lajawi, said: “The new institutional identity reflects our aspirations towards developing a work environment based on institutional excellence and sustainable innovation, while preserving the legacy of the authority and its identity related to its roots and history.”

He added, “Through this step, we seek to enhance our institutional presence, and to unify our visual messages in a manner that keeps pace with our aspirations for the next stage.”

The new identity of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority will contribute to enhancing the consistency of institutional messages, and consolidating the image of the authority as a leading government institution, which adheres to the highest quality and integration standards, in line with Dubai’s future vision and its strategic directions in the civil aviation sector.
