The UAE welcomes the decision of the “international justice” that rejects the claims of the false Sudanese armed forces

Yesterday, the United Arab Emirates welcomed the decision of the International Court of Justice in The Hague to reject the lawsuit filed by the Sudanese Armed Forces against the UAE, based on the clear absence of the judicial jurisdiction, and based on this decision the case will be filed from the court’s record, and all the procedures related to it formally will be completed.
This decision confirms what was evident for a long time, which is that the lawsuit filed by the Sudanese Armed Forces is invalid, and has no basis.
The UAE has always expressed its rejection of the false allegations of the Sudanese armed forces, which represents a clear attempt to distract the army’s humanitarian atrocities in Sudan.
In a statement, Deputy Foreign Minister Assistant for Political Affairs, representing the UAE before the court, Reem Kettt said: “The decision clearly and cutting off that the lawsuit submitted is unfounded.
She added: “With the destroyed war in Sudan the third year, the UAE calls on the Sudanese armed forces and the rapid support forces to end the war without preconditions, the commitment of negotiations, allowing the access to humanitarian aid without any obstacles … The international community must move firmly to facilitate the transition to a political process led by a civilian leadership independent of the army’s control, and the accountability of those responsible for the commission of humanitarian atrocities.”
“We confirm our commitment to cooperation with regional and international partners, to enhance teamwork and build a future of peace and prosperity for the Sudanese people.”
Reem Kett:
• The UAE calls for an end to the war in Sudan without preconditions, and the commitment of negotiations.
