The organization of the visit comes in partnership with the Embassy of the UAE in Tokyo, and the delegation includes officials and leaders from more than 80 entities and institutions from the two sectors, the private sector, startups and entrepreneurs, including the Department of Culture and Tourism- Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Securities Market, Abu Dhabi Global ADGM, Abu Dhabi Investment Office, Abu Dhabi Customs, Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Khalifa Fund To develop projects, Adenuk, Mabla, Kizad, Hub71, Abu Dhabi Airports, and major companies and institutions from various economic sectors.

His Excellency Al -Zaabi added: “For more than 6 decades, Japan is a major partner for the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and the United Arab Emirates, which clarifies the continuous growth of trade exchange and joint investments, as trade exchange increased with an annual growth rate of 11.9 percent during the past five years, and the UAE’s non -oil exports to Japan increased by 8.8 per cent and imports by 12.2 in The hundred. It is expected that the trade exchange and joint investments will witness significant growth after the conclusion of the comprehensive economic partnership agreement between the UAE and Japan this year, as the agreement aims to open more opportunities in various sectors, exchange experiences and technology and open new markets for both Japanese and Emirati companies.
During the visit, the Abu Dhabi Economic delegation is participating in a number of events in Japan, including Expo 2025 in Osaka, the “Sushi Tech” conference in Tokyo, and the 11th session of the Abu Dhabi Economic Council, organized by the Department of Economic Development- Abu Dhasi, the Japanese Cooperation Center for the Middle East.

Since its launch in 2011, the Abu Dhabi -Japan Economic Council has contributed to enhancing bilateral relations, opening business opportunities and facilitating trade and investments.
