The “Scientific Class” project recalls the acquisition of the honorary doctorate of Sharjah from the Japanese University of Kanazo

The circuit of Dr. Sultan Al Qasimi, as part of the “Scientific Degree” project, recalled that His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, received an honorary doctorate from the Japanese University of Kanazoa in April 2010.

This honorary testimony came in appreciation of his highness as one of the most prominent Arab symbols in supporting education, culture and art in Sharjah and the Emirates in particular, and the Arab world in general and as one of the most prominent Arab figures is an interest in extending bridges of cooperation and harmony between Arab culture and various human cultures and civilizations for the sake of human happiness and their interdependence and drawing better features for the future of man.

During the honoring ceremony, which was held in the city of Kanazoa, His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah delivered a speech in Arabic, translated by His Highness Sheikha Hor bint Sultan Al Qasimi to Japanese, during which he stressed the importance of education and scientific research for the economic, cultural and social progress of countries all over the world.

In his speech to the University City project in Sharjah and the efforts made to upgrade higher education through the establishment of Sharjah and American universities in Sharjah and the activation of international partnerships in the field of scientific research and innovation, an affirmation of the role of knowledge in building more advanced and stable societies.

Japanese officials praised His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah as one of the most important Arab figures concerned with man, upgrading him and developing his ability to communicate and interact with the peoples of the earth for a more just and happier future for all humanity.

It is noteworthy that His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah is one of the outstanding figures who receive this honor from the University of Kanazoa, which dates back to 1949 and is considered one of the most important and most powerful universities in Japan and East Asia.

This honor is a new addition to His Highness’s balance of honorary certificates that he received from the major international universities that reflect the international appreciation of his pioneering role in the Arab cultural and cognitive renaissance.
