المملكة: Representatives of the media program meet in “Meteorology” to coordinate publishing in the Hajj season

The National Meteorological Center will hold a coordination workshop on Thursday, with the participation of representatives of media and awareness programs in government agencies working in the Hajj, in implementation of the directives of the Supreme Hajj Committee, with the aim of raising the level of integration in media awareness about the expected air phenomena during the Hajj season this year 1446 AH.
The General Supervisor of the Center for Hajj at the center, Dr. Turki Habibullah, explained that the workshop aims to introduce the weather conditions that may be witnessed in the holy sites, and the coordination of joint media messages between the participating authorities, in a way that contributes to enhancing readiness, and unifying awareness efforts to ensure the safety of pilgrims and raising awareness of the risks of weather and ways to deal with them

The workshop also examines the mechanisms of cooperation in broadcasting warning and awareness messages, and ways of joint media publishing, in addition to discussing the means of communicating meteorology accurately and quickly to workers in the field and the guests of Rahman.
The organization of the workshop comes within the pre -emptive efforts of the Hajj season, and as an extension of its initiatives in supporting government agencies with accurate and updated information, in a way that contributes to strengthening the safety system and achieving the targets of the Kingdom’s 2030 vision in improving the services provided to the pilgrims of the Sacred House of God
