King Abdulaziz Library enhances cultural bridges between Riyadh and Beijing

The King Abdulaziz Public Library in Riyadh, in cooperation with Princess Noura Bint Abdul Rahman University, held a symposium “Cultural Bridges between Riyadh and Beijing”, in the Blue Theater at the University, on the occasion of the Saudi -Chinese cultural year 2025.
The symposium included two dialogue sessions, the first session entitled “From the Light of Libraries to the Glow of Awards”, in which each of the Deputy General Supervisor of the King Abdulaziz Public Library, Dr. Abdul Karim Al -Zaid, and the Secretary -General of the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Prize for Cultural Cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the People’s Republic of China, Dr. Abdul Mohsen Al -Aqili.
The session was conducted by the Dean of the Faculty of Languages ​​at Princess Noura University d. Hamda Al -Ghamdi.

From the heart of Riyadh to Beijing

The second session, entitled “From the Heart of Riyadh to Beijing, came … experiences of language and culture weaved”, in which Dr. Saleh Al -Saqri (the first cultural attaché in China), and the head of the Asian Language Department (Chinese Language Program) at Princess Noura Bint Abdul Rahman D. The symposium program paragraphs included introductory films, documenting the strengthening of Saudi -Chinese cultural relations in the fields of science and knowledge, and the activities of the sessions were translated into the Chinese language.
In addition to an exhibition accompanying an introductory pavilion at the King Abdulaziz Public Library, another for the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Award for Cultural Cooperation between Saudi Arabia and China, and the wing of the work of the students of the College of Asian Languages ​​at Princess Noura Bint Abdul Rahman University, and another that included the presentation of heritage and artistic works within the participation of some Chinese communities in the city of Riyadh.
