Emirates Airlines contributed for decades to expand the presence of Dubai World and open new economic horizons

His Highness said at the forefront of the annual report of the Emirates Airlines 2024-2025: starting from this vision, Dubai has emerged as a detailed global destination for projects and innovation – and a vital bridge that connects the east of the world to its west, and a model for the prosperous cities in the twenty -first century, driven by great aspirations, and focused on stability, taking creativity and innovation as a constant approach to work, to welcome all thought Creator and distinguished talent to be partners in the development march of its logo converting opportunities into successes.

His Highness continued: Recently, the world prevailed in a state of uncertainty, however, Dubai continued to develop with a purposeful investment in smart infrastructure, skilled human capital, strong partnerships, and effective systems that put human happiness in the first place, to provide global levels in all fields, and success stories that fruit join the efforts of the public and private sectors, polarizing the world’s interest and appreciation.

His Highness added: One of the most prominent success stories that we are proud of, whose chapters were eliminated a pioneering national institution, “Emirates Airlines”, which contributed over decades to expand the presence of Dubai International and open new economic horizons, by linking humans, goods and ideas across continents, as it started creating job opportunities, pushing trade wheel, enhancing tourism movement, and strengthening global ties that feed prosperity.

His Highness stated: In the language of numbers, the group contributed in 2023 about 75 billion dirhams in the economy of the Emirate of Dubai, which is approximately 15% of the emirate’s gross domestic product, and supported more than 236 thousand jobs, while “Emirates Airlines” and “Danata” continues to achieve a sustainable impact in the societies that serve it in six continents and about 200 cities.

His Highness said: By the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, the group has become a global standard for excellence, and an inspiring model for what a national company can achieve, and it reached the highest levels of efficiency globally, driven by seeing its borders about the sky.

His Highness stressed: The Emirates Group will remain the cornerstone of building the future of our economy, and a key partner in achieving the “Dubai Economic Agenda D33” targets to complete its role in the comprehensive, growing and sustainable air transport system.

His Highness stated: Last year, they announced an investment of 128 billion dirhams to develop the new Al Maktoum International Airport in Dubai South, and upon its completion in the 1930s, it will become the largest airport in the world. On this axis, Dubai South will grow into a new, sustainable, and rich city, which opens new prospects for the growth of the Emirates Group and the United Arab Emirates.

His Highness said: While Emirates Airlines this year celebrates the 40th anniversary of the launch of its operations, the carrier and Qanana are preparing for a new stage of growth, through strategic investments in human competencies, technology, equipment, and infrastructure, to continue making new standards for global excellence in the field of air transport.
