The start of the Emirates Critical Care Conference and the Second World Intensive Care Summit in Dubai

Dubai, May 9 / WAM / The activities of the 21st UAE Conference for Critical Care, in conjunction with the Second World Summit of the International Union of Intensive Care Associations (WFICC), were launched in Dubai as well as the 16th Asian African Conference, and the Seventh World Emergency Medicine Conference, at the Intercontinental Festival City Hotel.
The event – which will continue until May 11 – will be held in cooperation with a group of medical and international nursing conferences, and is considered one of the most prominent events in the field of critical care in the Middle East and North Africa, and the third globally in terms of the volume of participation.
This year the conference attracts more than 2000 participants from 45 countries, and includes 275 speakers, including 130 speakers, and the scientific program includes 381 lectures within 77 scientific sessions, along with 4 workshops, 4 training courses, 131 scientific research, and 6 industrial seminars.
Dr. Hussein Al Rahma, President of the Conference, stressed that the event seeks to enhance the exchange of experiences in vital areas that include: blood poisoning, infection, kidney disease, artificial respiration, nutrition, cardiac resuscitation, and modern technologies in critical care, indicating that the participants will get 22.5 hours of continuous medical education accredited by the Dubai Health Authority.
The conference also witnessed the signing of three memoranda of understanding with the International Federation of Intensive Care Associations, the International Federation for Intensive Care Nursing, and the International Fluid Academy, in addition to the opening of a specialized medical exhibition with the participation of 34 international and local companies.
