A medical team saves a nine patient from amputation of the lower limb at King Khalid Hospital in Tabuk

A medical team specialized in the vascular department of King Khalid Hospital, which is affiliated with the Tabuk Health Assembly, was able to save a 90 -year -old patient from an imminent amputation of the lower party, after transferring her emergency condition from a peripheral hospital. The medical team explained that the patient was suffering from severe blood circulation of the left side of the left side as a result of a sharp blockage in the arteries of the pelvis and thigh due to blood clots, which made her condition And it calls urgent intervention.

According to the team, the patient was entered directly into the operating room, where she had a precise operation that took about four hours, which included exploring the thigh arteries, removing strokes, and restricting the legs of the leg using strokes. The process – thanks to God – was successful.

Later, the patient underwent the treatment catheter to expand the arteries and complete the restoration of the blood vessel naturally, which led to a noticeable improvement in her condition.

The medical team confirmed that the patient left the hospital after the stability of her health, and she was in good condition.
