"Government cognitive exchange" He discusses with the governor of New Jersey State, opportunities and areas of cooperation

Dubai, May 12/ WAM/ The Government Cognitive Exchange Office at the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs, His Excellency Phil Mirfi, Governor of New Jersey, received, as part of an official visit to the UAE, aimed at discussing areas and opportunities for cooperation, and benefiting from the government cognitive exchange program, which contributes to enhancing relations, and promotes levels of exchanging experiences, experiences and best practices in developing government work.

His Excellency Abdullah Nasser Lootah, Assistant Minister of Cabinet Affairs for Competitiveness and Knowledge Exchange, with the governor of New Jersey State, discussed a number of issues of common concern in the areas of government work development.

The meeting was attended by His Excellency Mohammed bin Tala’i, head of government services in the UAE government, Manal bin Salem, CEO of government knowledge exchange in the government cognitive exchange office, and a delegation from the state embassy in the American capital, Washington.

Abdullah Lootah emphasized that the meeting with the governor of New Jersey State translates the UAE government’s endeavor to enhance the march of international cooperation, and reflects the message of the government knowledge exchange office, and its important role in transferring and sharing successful experiences in the areas of government work with partners around the world.

He said that the UAE government is keen to expand the circle of international built partnerships aimed at enabling governments to develop and anticipate challenges, and to build a system of opportunities that enable its societies to keep pace with the accelerated developments and enhance their participation in building the future.

The meeting discussed the topics of developing government services, adopting the methods of digital transformation to provide more efficient and flexible services, exchange experiences in the field of government speeds, while the meeting reviewed the bureaucracy testimonies and simplifying governmental procedures in the UAE, and initiatives to build government capabilities in various areas of public administration, enhance digital skills and programming in the government sector, and develop technological competencies to enable digital transformation and provide solutions Government based on data and technology.

They stressed the importance of enhancing joint work to develop an effective positive cooperation model that enables the government of the UAE and the state of New Jersey to participate in knowledge and expertise, in a way that enhances their efforts in achieving sustainable development goals and promotes the effectiveness of government work.

The meeting discussed aspects of joint cooperation in the areas of government knowledge exchange, capacity building, developing government work in a way that keeps pace with global variables, reviewing the common visions and future trends, especially with regard to the consolidation of the principles of innovation and anticipation of challenges, and enhancing the efficiency of government performance through investing in technology and human cadres.

The Governor of New Jersey stressed the keenness to exchange government best practices with the government cognitive exchange program, in the areas of capacity building, cooperation in artificial intelligence, programming, and digital governance, which contributes to developing innovative work models that support the sustainability of government performance and serve societies efficiently.

The meeting reviewed the specialized leadership programs aimed at developing leadership competencies in the government sector, enhancing their knowledge of the pioneering model and the distinguished Emirati experience in government work, and its role in building influential leaders, advancing development, achieving development goals, and looking at the future.

The meeting stressed the importance of enhancing cooperation in the knowledge aspects, and touched on the pioneering role of the UAE in exporting successful government experiences, and discussed ways to benefit from New Jersey from these experiences within the framework of exchanging government experiences globally.

It is noteworthy that the government of the UAE launched the government cognitive exchange program, with the aim of transferring the best government practices and expertise to brotherly and friendly countries, and enhancing cooperation in the areas of government modernization and development.

Since its launch in 2018, the program has succeeded in launching partnerships with dozens of countries around the world, with the aim of building institutional capabilities and developing government performance through exchanging knowledge in the areas of strategic planning, government excellence, and the leadership of government services, in addition to implementing strategic initiatives and building institutional capabilities.
