Director James Gray chose the international star Scarlett Johansson and the star Miles Tiller; To present the feature film “Paper Tiger”, instead of the two stars: Ann Hathaway and Jeremy Strong, who apologized for starring the movie, because of their other artistic contracts.
The news, which was published by the American website, “Deadline”, confirmed that filming the film will begin in the US state of New Jersey next June, to be shown at the beginning of 2026.

The film deals with a tense and bold story, which revolves around two brothers who seek to achieve the American dream, to be involved in an incredible global plan, while they tried to make their way through a world that gets more dangerous of corruption and violence, they find themselves and their families under the Russian “mafia” terrorism. Their relationship begins to disintegrate, and betrayal – which was previously something that cannot happen – becomes a reality.
Scarlett Johansson will start filming her scenes, upon her return from participating as a director for the first time in the activities of the “Cannes International Film Festival”, in its seventy -eighth session, which will start tomorrow, Tuesday, and will continue until May 24, where she participates in the “Look” section, through the movie “Eleanor The Great”.
The “Look” section is known, in “Kan Film”, by presenting innovative and different cinematic works from new directors, which puts her movie on an important platform for displaying business, which is away from traditional commercial patterns.

And the movie “Eleanor The Great”, a novelism that deals with the story of a ninety -year -old woman, who lives in Florida, and enters into an unexpected friendship with a young man at nineteen.
Despite the big difference between the age of the two characters, the film highlights the human relationship that arises between them, and addresses topics: unity, communication between generations, and mutual wisdom. Through this film, Johansson presents a human cinematic vision, which reflects its interests in the depth of the human psyche, away from the prevailing commercial trends in Hollywood.
