Details of the 25th session of the “Rotterdam Arab Film Festival” in the Netherlands
Arab cinema continues its global presence, and is preparing to celebrate the “Silver Jubilee” for the “Rotterdam Film Festival”, which will be held in the Dutch city of Rotterdam, between May 28 and until the second of next June.
The program of the twenty -fifth session of the “Festival” is filled with cinematic shows, with a focus on highlighting the diversity and artistic wealth offered by Arab cinema, through a platform that expresses dreams and social and human visions of Arab directors from within the Arab world, and from the Diaspora.

The “Festival” will show 37 films through its official program, and it will show 32 short films through its platform on the Internet “CMENA.NL”, in a move aimed at expanding the scope of interaction and reaching a broader audience.
Nine films are competing in the long movie competition, which are:
– “Fraud with mint”, directed by Mohamed Hamdi (Egypt, Qatar, Tunisia, and France).
– “Yonan”, by Prince Fakhruddin (Germany, Canada, Italy, Palestine, Qatar, Jordan and Saudi Arabia).
– “Salma and Qamar”, by the Saudi director, the era of Kamel (Saudi Arabia, and the United Kingdom).
– “Cedar”, by director Mira Shuaib (Egypt, Lebanon, and Saudi Arabia).
– “Thank you for dreaming with us!”, Laila Abbas (Palestine, Germany, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Egypt).
– “The unit of love”, for the perfection of Kamal (Morocco).
– “Searching for an outlet for the exit of Mr. Rambo”, by Khaled Mansour (Egypt and Saudi Arabia).
– “Salma”, to the goodness of Saeed (Syria).
– “Dreams of passing”, by Rashid Mashrawi (Palestine, France, Sweden, and Saudi Arabia).
As seven films are competing in the documentary competition, they are:
– “Where are we,” by Dora Zarrouk (Tunisia, Palestine, and Egypt).
– “The immortal”, for Maya Chomi (Switzerland, and Iraq).
– “Mondov”, by Karim Qasim (Lebanon, the Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar).
– “The Seam’s Line”, for Selfie Baltut (France, Lebanon, and Qatar).
– “Gaza that overlooks the sea”, by Mahmoud Nabil Ahmed (Palestine and Tunisia).
– “My memory is full of ghosts”, for Anas al -Zawahiri (Syria).
– “Your mother”, by Samira Al -Muzaghibati (Belgium and France).
14 films in the short movie competition are also competing:
– “The last summer nights”, by Fatima Yasser.
– “We need cosmic assistance”, by Ahmed Emad.
– “No consolation for women”, by Mahmoud Zain.
– “An apple”, for a full bishoy.
– “Madonna”, by John Farid Zaki.
– “I am yours”, for Amina Abdel -Ghani.
– “Beyond”, for Maha Al -Hajj (Palestine, France, and Italy).
– “Khaled and Nama”, for Suhail Dahl (Palestine).
– “She was born famous”, by Al -Awad (Palestine).
– “By making you”, for me, Jabbah (Palestine).
– “Go to keep the anniversary”, for Ali Al -Hajri (Qatar).
– “Km” for Jamjoom (Saudi Arabia).
– “Sheikha”, by Ayoub Liusfi and Zahwa Raji (Morocco, and France).
– “The intention” of Iman Iman (Algeria and France).
