A source close to the artist George Wassouf denied the rumor circulating about his death, which spread on social media since the early hours of Wednesday morning, stressing that Sultan Al -Tarab is fine and in good health, and there is absolutely no truth to what is being circulated.
The source pointed out that “Abu Wadih” is currently following one of the TV series, and he did not know until the moment the spread of the rumor, due to his preoccupation with his artistic preparations, led by a European tour that includes two concerts in Sweden and Germany, who will be held on May 24 and 25, to return to Lebanon to revive a joint artistic ceremony with the artist Adam on June 7.
The director of the artist also confirmed that George Wassouf is in good health, and is preparing to present a group of his most famous songs during his upcoming concerts, whether classic that the audience loves or his latest works.

Return to Cairo

George Wassouf performed his last concerts on February 24 in a Cairo hotel, after a 15 -year absence from singing in Egypt, and the ceremony witnessed a wide public turnout.
