“Details of the meeting” between Trump and Sharia revealed on the sidelines of the American Gulf Summit

The meeting, which was held between US President Donald Trump and Syrian Ahmed Al -Sharaa in Riyadh on the sidelines of the American Gulf Summit, is a major shift in the events for Syria, and described by the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates today, Wednesday, as the White House revealed an aspect of the dialogue that took place between the President Trump and Sharia, during their meeting in Riyadh.
The meeting came after Trump announced on Tuesday that the United States will move to lift the economic sanctions imposed on Syria, saying that he is looking forward to granting Syria, which comes out of more than a decade from the devastating war, “an opportunity for peace” under the rule of Sharia.
The White House revealed a part of the dialogue between President Trump and Sharia during their meeting in Riyadh, Wednesday.
White House spokesman said Trump called the Sharia to join the Abrahamic agreements with Israel.
Trump also called on Al -Shara to deport the Palestinian factions, which are classified by Washington, “terrorist” from Syria.
The American President asked his Syrian counterpart “to help America prevent ISIS’s return.”
On the other hand, Sharia informed Trump that he is calling on American companies to invest in the oil and gas sector in Syria, according to the White House.
For its part, the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, in a statement published on its Facebook page today: “A historic meeting took place that brought together Syrian President Ahmed Al -Shara, US President Donald Trump and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, through a phone call in which Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan also participated, in the presence of Saudi foreign ministers, Syria and the United States of America.”
She added, “During the meeting, the importance of lifting the sanctions imposed on Syria and supporting the path of recovery and reconstruction was emphasized, as Prince Muhammad bin Salman stressed the necessity of this step to achieve stability in the region, while President Trump stressed his country’s commitment to stand by Syria at this articulated stage, and President Ahmed Al -Shara expressed his gratitude for regional and international support, stressing the continuation of Syria with confidence towards the future.
According to the ministry, “the meeting dealt with the means of the Syrian -American partnership in the field of combating terrorism and cooperation in eliminating the influence of non -state actors, non -Syrian armed groups that hinder stability, including ISIS and other threats.”
In turn, the Saudi Press Agency “SPA” said that the meeting was held at the invitation of Prince Muhammad bin Salman, dealing with the future of the situation in Syria, affirming the importance of its stability, sovereignty and territorial integrity, achieving security and prosperity for the Syrian people, as well as discussing regional conditions and the importance of working to find appropriate solutions to them.
