Lopez posted through her official account on “Instagram” a picture showing a clear wound in her nose, briefly commenting: “This is what happened.”

It is noteworthy that this ceremony is witnessing the return of Lopez to present the “American Music Awards” for the first time in about a decade, after she had presented the 2015 edition. She announced her selection officially last April, amid a great welcome from her fans and event makers.

In this context, Jay Bings, CEO of “Dick Clark Production”, said that Lopez is the perfect choice thanks to its exceptional energy on the stage, adding: “We are sure that it will add its unique energy to the official celebration of the start of the summer.”

For her part, Lopez expressed the depth of her association with this artistic event, noting that she had been following him since her childhood: “Fifty years of this ceremony, and I remember watching it at home when I was young.” She pointed out that her first appearance was on the stage of the ceremony in 2001, and has since made more than ten shows.
