Trump signs investment agreements and pledges with Qatar at 1.2 trillion dollars

The White House announced in a statement that summarizes some details of the agreements, saying that the agreements signed by US President Donald Trump and the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani today, Wednesday, will achieve “an economic exchange of at least $ 1.2 trillion.”

The statement added that the agreements include a $ 96 billion deal with Qatar Airways to purchase up to 210 Boeing planes of 787 Dreamliner and 777 X equipped with General Electric engines.

It also includes an intention statement that may lead to 38 billion dollars in investments at the Al -Kaddid Al -Qatari air base and other air defense and marine security capabilities.
