The President of Belarus pardons 31 Ukrainian prisoners

The Belarusian official news agency (BelTA) said yesterday that President Alexander Lukashenko pardoned 31 Ukrainian citizens who were convicted of committing criminal crimes on the territory of Belarus.
The agency quoted Natalia Esmont, Lukashenko’s spokeswoman, as saying that this step came in line with the agreements reached between Lukashenko and US President Donald Trump, at the request of Kiev.
She added: “The process of handing them over to the Ukrainian side is currently underway.”
