Abu Dhabi Police participates in the global police summit

Abu Dhabi, May 14/ WAM/ The General Command of Abu Dhabi Police is participating in 10 platforms, within the fourth edition of the global police summit, during the period from May 13 to 15th, at the Dubai World Trade Center.

He pointed out that the Abu Dhabi Police presented during the summit practical models of the development it reached in its security system, stressing that innovation and human capacity building remains one of the strategic priorities that Abu Dhabi Police seeks to consolidate it constantly, in order to enhance its readiness and response to the security scene variables, and a group of entrepreneurial initiatives, which reflects its commitment to innovation and developing its system Security.
Among the most prominent participants is the “Virtual Training Portal”, which is an advanced digital platform that allows associates to engage in interactive training experiences using virtual reality technologies and artificial intelligence, as it provides scenarios that simulate the security and field reality, which enhances their efficiency and willingness to deal with various challenges.
A brief idea presented to the participants and visitors about the “Amal opportunity” initiative, which is concerned with providing support, treatment and rehabilitation for the users of narcotic drugs, and seeks to reintegrate them into society through integrated humanitarian and awareness programs, showing the police’s commitment to social responsibility and pre -control protection.
The participants also included, “Disaster Victims Development Team”, a specialist who undertakes the task of identifying disaster victims and major accidents using advanced forensic tools such as DNA analysis, and is one of the leading units in the immediate response to emergency situations.
In its pavilion, it reviewed the “drivers alert system”, which aims to enhance road safety, which contributes to reducing accidents and preserving lives, and showing “mobile ballistic laboratories”, which are mobile units equipped with the latest devices and equipment for the analysis of ballistic evidence in the crime scene, allowing accelerating investigations and raising the efficiency of field work.
In the context of supporting the internal creativity environment, she participated in the platform of the “Incubatant Ideas Program”, which encourages employees to provide new and innovative ideas to face security challenges, while providing full support to convert these ideas into applicable projects.
Abu Dhabi Police also reviewed the experience of the “Regional Institute for Security Inspection K9”, which is considered one of the specialized centers in training and qualifying police dog teams according to the best international standards, and provides advanced programs in the areas of explosive detection, drugs and other vital security tasks.
