Under the patronage of the Ruler of Sharjah .. The conclusion of the 12th session of the Sharjah School Theater Festival

Sharjah, May 15 / WAM / The activities of the twelfth session of the Sharjah School Theater Festival, which is organized under the generous sponsorship of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, and embodies the great interest that the emirate pays to support artistic creativity among students and promote educational curricula through theatrical arts.

The course witnessed a wide participation of government schools in the city of Sharjah and the central and eastern regions, where students presented theatrical performances that varied in their topics, completed their artistic visions, and were distinguished by the creative and expressive presence of students in performance and acting.

The organizers of the festival stressed that the current session reflected a remarkable development in the level of participants in terms of directing and educational contents, as the schools presented theatrical performances that carried humanitarian messages and high educational values, and contributed to refining students’ creative skills and enhancing confidence in their technical capabilities.

The ceremony witnessed the honoring of the winners of the Sharjah School theater Competition, and the closing phase competition competition, in the presence of His Excellency Abdullah Al -Owais, Head of the Culture Department and the head of the festival, and Ahmed Bouhima, the director of the theater department and the festival director, as well as a number of those involved in cultural and educational affairs and parents.

The results of the school theatrical authorship competition resulted in the victory of the teacher Ahmed Al -Rifai from the National Renaissance School (Emirates) in the first place for the text of “the last broadcast”, while the teacher Khaled Raslan from Abdullah Al -Salem School for Basic Education (Emirates) won the second place for his text “Evo 9”, and the teacher Nasser Abdullah Al -Kanhal from Al -Kharj Teaching Complex (Saudi Arabia) won the third place for his text “an unknown mission.”

In the category of students, the student, Malak Alloush, from Al -Saleh Private School (Emirates) won the first place for her text “The child Malak and the book of the enchanted”, while the second place came to the student Shatha Jaber from the Khawla Bint Thaalba School (Emirates) on her text “On the day my mother shouted in my name”, while the third place was the student Nour Yasser Al -Qusair from Zubaydah Secondary School for Girls (Qatar) for her text. I belong. ”

The jury, headed by the artist Juma Ali, and the membership of the artist Amal Mohamed and the artist Faisal Ali, announced the results of the closing phase competition competition, amid a tribute to the advanced technical level that students in various works showed.
