المملكة: At 88 million dollars .. “Saudi Development” is developing two universities in Indonesia

The CEO of the Saudi Fund for Development, Sultan bin Abdul Rahman Al -Murshid, participated in the opening of two projects to develop the Jakarta State University, and the University of Mawlana Malik Ibrahim Malik in the Republic of Indonesia, as the fund contributes to financing the two projects with a value exceeding (88) million dollars; This is in support of the educational sector in various Indonesian regions.
The project to develop and modernize the Jakarta State University (the second stage) that the Saudi Fund for Development contributes to its financing at a value of more than (32.7) million dollars; With the aim of establishing (4) buildings consisting of (10) floors for each building, in addition to establishing the Great Mosque and the Social Development Center with a total area of ​​about (44) thousand square meters, to raise the capacity from (28) thousand to (40) thousand students.

The opening ceremony was attended by His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Technology in Indonesia, Dr. Brian Yularto, His Excellency the President of the University, Dr. Qamar Al -Din, the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in Indonesia, Faisal bin Abdullah Al -Amoudi, and a number of officials from both sides.
In a related context, the project of developing the University of Mawlana Malik Ibrahim Malik (the second stage) comes in the Eastern Jawa, which the Saudi Fund for Development contributes to its financing with a value exceeding (55.5) million dollars, with the aim of constructing (5) buildings equipped with renewable solar energy, including the colleges of engineering, pharmacy, medicine, research center, Islamic Studies Center, and the construction of university housing that reaches an area of ​​about (42) thousand meters Square, as well as qualifying quality facilities and providing modern devices and equipment for the university.
It is noteworthy that the Saudi Fund for Development has been presented to the Republic of Indonesia since (1976) AD; Support for financing (12) projects and development program, in the sectors of agriculture, transport, transportation, health, education, industry and mining, through facilitated development loans exceeding (396) million dollars, to contribute to social growth and sustainable economic prosperity in Indonesia.
