The Saudi Media Forum held two strategic meetings with leaders of Warner Bros. Discovery and the American News Agency (Associated Press), within the “Media Bridges” initiative, on the sidelines of his participation in the activities of the International Digital Media and Satellite Telecom Exhibition “Capesat 2025”.
The first meeting came with Warner Bros. Discovery to discuss ways to develop Saudi competencies in the areas of media production, creative content, and advanced entertainment techniques.

Future trends

The two parties reviewed the mechanisms of building a sustainable training system that accompanies modern transformations in the industry, including practical training, transfer of knowledge and direct engagement in joint international production projects.
The meeting dealt with the most prominent future trends in the stages of production and post -production, such as multi -platform output, managing media supply chains, employing advanced photography tools, visual effects, and montage techniques, allowing Saudi talents real opportunities to refine skills and work within professional environments.
The two parties discussed the preparation of specialized training programs and sustainable knowledge exchange, which enables Saudi youth to enhance their capabilities in the fields of visual authorship, digital production, and modern cinematic technologies, in a way that contributes to making Saudi content with a global spirit, as well as touching on developing the user experience and enhancing integration with digital broadcast platforms (OTT) to provide local content that keeps pace with the aspirations of the international public.

Rehabilitation of national cadres

In the second meeting, the Saudi Media Forum organized a meeting with the leaders of the American News Agency (AP), during which the areas of cooperation were discussed in developing news and digital content, and the qualification of national media cadres through advanced training programs, allowing them to acquire advanced editing skills, the immediate and analytical coverage industry, and work within international liberation environments.
The discussion focused on transferring professional experiences from the AP agency, especially in the management of the news agenda, the employment of artificial intelligence tools in the content industry, and the construction of coverage that addresses a multi -platform audience, which contributes to enhancing the quality of Saudi content and raising its readiness to interact with the renewed global media scene.

During the two meetings, the forum reviewed the “SMF Connect” initiative, which aims to enable young talents to make a media content that crosses the borders, and keeps pace with the global experience through several tracks that include marketing and writing content, translation, photography and montage, and seeks to produce dedicated media content that reflects Saudi culture, and contributes to promoting global communication, by supporting national competencies and developing student skills, in a way that serves the objectives of the authority in raising The quality of media work and the spread of Saudi culture in a creative manner.
These meetings come within the goals of the “Media Bridges” initiative launched by the Saudi Media Forum, as a strategic platform to document the link between the Saudi media and the major international media institutions, in the context of supporting the targets of the Kingdom’s 2030 vision.
