The conclusion of the government institutions and the private sector in Ras Al Khaimah
Ras Al -Khaimah, May 16/ WAM/ The fifth edition of the Football Championship for Governmental Institutions and the private sector in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, which was organized by Ras Al Khaimah University for Medicine and Health Sciences, was concluded yesterday under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, in the presence of Sheikh Mohammed bin Kayed Al Qasimi, Head of the Department of Economic Development in Ras Al Khaimah.
The 13 -day championship witnessed a wide participation of teams representing various governmental and private institutions and agencies in the emirate, in an enthusiastic sporting atmosphere and high -level competition that reflected the development of the sports movement in Ras Al Khaimah institutions.
The Ras Al Khaimah University team for medicine and health sciences achieved the second place after a distinguished performance throughout the championship stages, crowned a strong final match that brought it together with the Ras Al Khaimah Police team, which won the championship title at the end of a full meeting with club and excitement.
The championship organizers praised the distinguished technical level of the participating teams, and what the players showed in sporting spirit and high competitive performance, stressing that the tournament has become an important sports platform to enhance societal interaction between workers in government and private agencies, and to consolidate the values of cooperation and teamwork.
The achievement achieved by the university team is the result of the continuous efforts of the technical and administrative bodies, and the continuous support from the university administration to enhance the culture of sport and health in the work environment, and motivate employees to adopt healthy lifestyles and physical activity.
