المملكة: Makkah Al -Mukarramah .. Educating visitors

The Office of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture in the Holy Capital is actively participating in the exhibition “Nazis Al -Hajj – Nahj”, whose activities were recently launched at the Exhibition and Conference Center in Makkah, organized by the Chamber of Commerce.
This participation, which lasts for five days, comes as a platform to highlight the Ministry’s efforts to provide awareness and guidance services to the guests of Rahman, and to enhance the concepts of environmental sustainability, within an integral framework that reflects cooperation between the various governmental and private sectors to serve the Hajj season and enrich the experience of pilgrims.
The office pointed out that its participation includes providing various awareness materials for visitors, the most prominent of which is a visual presentation within the leading environmental awareness initiative, “It is pure”, which aims to enhance awareness of the importance of preserving the environment of the holy capital and Islamic historical sites.

Criteria for choosing sacrifice

The office also provides a specialized guidance content on sacrifices and gifts, focusing on accurate criteria for choosing the sacrifice in terms of its health condition and conformity with the legal conditions, with the aim of educating pilgrims and enhancing the concepts of environmental and religious responsibility during the performance of their rituals.
The office stated that the participating team of its employees is keen on direct interaction with the visitors of the exhibition, by providing comprehensive information on the ministry’s multiple services and answering their inquiries, as part of the Ministry’s continuous efforts in the field of awareness and community education.

Environmental culture

In a gesture that reflects the Ministry’s commitment to the principles of environmental sustainability, the office distributed 50 seedlings to visitors during the first day of the launch of the exhibition, in order to spread the environmental culture.
The Ministry’s office in the Holy Capital stressed that this participation represents a qualitative opportunity to highlight the Ministry’s continuous efforts in serving pilgrims and introduce its various initiatives, in addition to raising the level of public awareness of the importance of preserving the environment and achieving sustainability in the Holy Places and its surroundings, which is consistent with the general goals of the exhibition in highlighting the service, cultural and creative aspects associated with the Hajj season.
