The choir of the East Spirit performs two concerts at the end of the Biennial of Islamic Arts
This comes within the activities of the closing week of the Biennial, which is organized by the Diriyah Biennial Foundation in the Western Pilgrim Hall at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah under the title “And between them”.
The second version of the Islamic arts Biennial
The activities of the closing week will extend for four days, from Thursday, May 22 to Sunday, May 25, and will include musical performances, cultural activities, unique dining experiences, and a final forum that will extend for three days that will include dialogue sessions and interactive workshops.
The closing forum will be devoted every day to explore different dimensions of Islamic arts and cultures, as it will highlight the first day.
The title “rooted in the place” will be called on local projects related to Islamic cultural heritage throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with a focus on cultural narratives and integration with school and university education.
An interactive educational environment
As for the second day, entitled “Restore frameworks”, it focuses on the role of exhibitions and cultural programs in creating an interactive educational environment, while exploring the ability of material spaces and cultural programs to form unique educational experiences.
As for the last day, it will include a symposium entitled “The Possibilities of the Future”, through which it will look forward to the digital prospects and the broader influence of the statements.
It will also include specialized dialogue sessions on the use of technology in order to enhance our understanding of Islamic arts and develop research and societal models that can make a sustainable cultural impact that exceeds the exhibition’s stay.
Interactive experiments
All dialogue sessions will be open to the public, while mini -dialogue sessions will be open to experts and participating specialists.
Besides, visitors experience will include interactive dining and cooking experiences, while highlighting cooking arts in various Islamic cultures.
This is in addition to interactive experiences that allows all family members the opportunity to enjoy a weekend full of games and awards.
