المملكة: A pioneering experience .. “Sidia” reviews the digital transformation of the Kingdom in Expo Japan

The Saudi Organization for Data and Artificial Intelligence “Sayya” reviewed the Kingdom’s experience in digital transformation and building smart cities, during its participation in the Saudi events at the Expo Osaka Japan 2025, as part of the efforts of the Saudi wing in the exhibition, highlighting the national efforts in adopting data technologies and artificial intelligence to enhance the efficiency of services and achieve sustainable development, reflecting the Kingdom’s leadership in this field.
The deputy director of the National Information Center in “Sayya” Mashari Al -Mishari confirmed that the Kingdom is proceeding with a confident line towards building an integrated digital society based on the targets of Vision 2030, which made the digital transformation a basic pillar of national development.

Innovative national platforms

And that the establishment of “Sayya” in 2019 represented a pivotal turning point, through which the Commission led this transformation through three main devices: the National Information Center, the National Center for Artificial Intelligence, and the National Data Management Office, with national efforts that brought the Kingdom to leadership within the economies based on data and artificial intelligence as the authority in the Kingdom with data and artificial intelligence, and the national reference in all their regulation and development.
During his participation, he reviewed the most prominent innovative national platforms developed by the authority, including the comprehensive national application “Tawakkulna”, which serves more than (33) million users in (77) countries, and the “penetration” platform for digital identity, and the government cloud “Deem” that merged (268) data centers, and achieved and Furat exceeded (5.35) billion riyals, in addition to the “Ihsan” platform that supported more than (11) million A beneficiary through more than (30) thousand charitable projects.

Innovation system

Al -Meshari dealt with the role of “Sayya” in supporting the smart cities system, by launching the national platform for smart cities, the Riyadh Smart Operations Center, and its efforts in supporting the innovation system through training camps, incubators, business speeds, and national hats.
The participation of “Sayya” in Expo Osaka Japan 2025 embodies the Kingdom’s commitment to consolidating its position in a global leading country in developing artificial intelligence solutions with a human impact, and building a more intelligent and inclusive digital future.
