المملكة: An inspiring model .. a Belgian young man who cuts thousands of kilometers on a bike to perform the pilgrimage

At Ammar border status in the north of the Kingdom, and at the edge of the Jordanian border, the wheels of the Belgian young man, Anas (26 years), stopped, after an exceptional trip that lasted for more than 3 months, boycotting thousands of kilometers, crossing nine European and Arab countries, on his way to Mecca to perform the Hajj pilgrimage.
For more than three months, Anas Al -Rizki has crossed extended roads between cities and villages in Europe and the Middle East, from Belgium, through Germany, Austria, Italy, Bosnia, Herzegovina, and other old continent countries, to Türkiye.

Issue challenges

Al -Rizqi passed the Bosphorus Strait to the Asian West Bank, all the way to Jordan, where it was received by good faces and open hearts in each station.
“I faced countless challenges: from weather fluctuations to feeling lonely, but what always provided me with strength was sincere calls and warm smiles who I met on my way,” Anas narrated the details of his journey with a honest smile.

The big dream

Upon entering Saudi lands, Anas could not hide his influence; He stopped a little to contemplate the road that extends in front of him, as if he was trying to contain the moment he approached his big dream.
“It is a moment I cannot describe easily, I felt that I was approaching a dream that I lived for years waiting for him. Now, all that occupies my mind is to reach the closest point in front of the Kaaba, that moment when I will see the Kaaba for the first time,” Anas said with a loud voice and hope.

Inspiring

Anas, upon his arrival, was received by the officials of one of the Hajj companies, which he celebrated as an inspiring model. Ahmed bin Abbas Sindi said: “The journey of Anas reminds us that the pilgrimage is a ritual that goes beyond the geographical and cultural boundaries, and strengthens our responsibility towards developing a reception system worthy of the guests of Rahman, no matter how diversified their circumstances and methods of arrival.”
As for Muhammad Khan, he saw in the story of Anas a window for a new understanding, saying: “These personal experiences have learned a lot as a service.

Muslim youth in the West

Hassan Suruji added: “Anas did not travel the distance on the bike alone, but rather opened a new way for dialogue and communication with Muslim youth in the West. We learned from him as much as he learned from his journey, and we will take these experiences into account as we plan our future programs.”
That night, Anas was not just a pilgrim that reached his destination, but rather a living symbol of determination, faith and human rapprochement, stressing that the pilgrimage is a cross -border journey, which brings human beings under one banner, no matter how different their methods or distances.
