Montreal, May 18 / WAM / The Trends Center for Research and Consulting organized, through his office in Canada, an international conference under the title “Technology .. What is the position of technology in international relations?”, In cooperation with the University of Montreal, at the headquarters of the Canadian Higher Technology University, and under the auspices of the Francovone Association for Knowledge “ACFAS”, and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization “UNESCO”.
Academics, specialists and experts participating in the conference sessions emphasized that controlling advanced technology and artificial intelligence technologies and tools have become one of the most important criteria for influence and leadership in the new international system, explaining that technology has been reshaping the balance of regional and international powers.
They stressed the importance of strengthening international cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence organization to avoid divisions that may hinder progress and increase geopolitical tensions, in light of the transformation of digital technology into one of the most important elements of modern geopolitical power, as countries are competing to control data, digital infrastructure, and major technological platforms.
