Treasures on the wheels of time: a car trip "In particular" I opened the fourth in the sky of Egyptian art

In the heart of the village of Abu Rawash on the Egypt -Alexandria Desert Road, where the stories of the past are intertwined with the rhythm of the present, a unique world is signing, a world that embraces cinematic and television memories between its sides embodied in the wheels of time. & quot; Sima Sima & Quot, and his son Ayman Sima, the name, which has become synonymous with the rarest and most beautiful classic cars and Al -Hanatir, which added a special magic on the Egyptian screen for long decades, where the stronghold of cars that was installed by stars and stars of art Rushdie Abaza, Tawfiq Al -Chuen, Maryam Fakhreddin and Nightingale Al -Asmar Abdel Halim Hafez, Karim Abdel Aziz, Ahmed Amin and Others. His family and her close relationship with the world of Egyptian creativity for & rdquo; & quot; it was not just a acquisition, but was a passion for searching for these dilapidated cars, restoring them and reviving their glory. Over time, my father gained a good reputation as an expert in this field, and films and series makers began to realize the value of these treasures he possesses. The world of art is one of its widest doors. & quot; When Professor Shaheen was working with foreign production companies to film films in Egypt, they were looking for specific types of old cars that fit the time era of events & quot;, Ayman remembers. & quot; they asked in the artistic community, and told them that there is a man who has an unparalleled assortment of these cars, which is my father. Contact him, and from here the professional stage began. My father became the main supplier of these cars for various artworks, and Youssef Shaheen is the one who called him the title ' Sima Sima ', a title that my father holds proudly to this day. On an artistic giving trip, it becomes a key partner in making the visual image of many immortal works. With the increase in the volume of work and multiple sites, his son Ayman joined him to help him in this arduous and fun task at the same time. & quot; my presence in the filming sites has become a necessity due to the effort and time required to work & quot; Ayman explains. & quot; The roles were distributed between us, my father supervises the accurate maintenance and rehabilitation of cars, while I take responsibility for its supply and coordination with production teams in different photography sites. With an exceptional set of cars and dungeons that carry the fingerprints of time and the scents of the past. & quot; I cannot specify its number accurately, but I assure you that no one in Egypt has this diversity and the quantity of rare classic cars & quot; Ayman says in the confident dialect. & quot; We are still eagerly looking for any unique piece that we can add to this group. We have cars that are considered artifacts, and they cannot be allowed to leave from Egypt because of the historical and artistic value it carries. 1908. We are also proud to possess cars that were owned by stars and prominent figures in the history of Egypt, including the car of the late comedian Abdel Salam Al -Nabulsi, with three wheels, and the handsome artist Rushdie Abaza, and even the car for the late President Mohamed Anwar Sadat, who made my father a strenuous effort to buy it and only once was used in the movie ' Yaqoubian Building ' In appreciation of its historical value. & Quot;
& quot; Text & quot; Recently, a tireless movement before preparing to participate in the & quot; Text & quot; Which & nbsp; Drama in the last Ramadan season drama & nbsp; Its events take place in the 1930s. & quot; this work was a special challenge for us & quot;, Ayman explains. & quot; events & nbsp; It was in a specific period of time & nbsp; The thirties require cars that return to that era or before. It was required to provide a large number of classic cars that are appropriate for this period, which required accurate research and double effort. & Quot; In meeting this difficult challenge, as the series was provided with more than 20 classic cars, including military jeep belonging to the English army, which was present in Egypt during that period, in addition to a number of elegant Hanatir that was part of the scene in the streets of Cairo at the time. & quot; We equipped these cars to the fullest, whether mechanically or in terms of paint and general appearance, to look like they just came out of the factories of that time era & quot;,
& nbsp;
Ayman expressed his happiness to participate in this work saying: & quot; the atmosphere in the site of filming the series ' text ' It was great, and there was great keenness from all the team on the smallest details, from clothes and accessories to cars, to provide an integrated artwork that reflects that time period honestly and accurately. Ali.
& nbsp; And his son, many unforgettable situations, some of which are funny and others carry valuable lessons. Ayman recalls a funny incident during the filming of the series & quotation & quot; Which takes place at the beginning of the last century, where the artist Ahmed Wafik faced difficulty driving a classic car, and almost caused an accident by the artist Ghada Abdel Razek, which forced Ayman to take the car himself in some scenes. And the dispute that arose about the fate of the & quot; Azza & quot; Classic, the director’s insistence on dumping it in a dramatic scene, and the strenuous efforts made to fix it after that.
& quot; A milestone in the cooperation of the family & quot; Sima & quot; With the cinema industry. & quot; We have provided the film by about 10 cars and Hanatir dating back to the post -1919 & quot, explains Ayman. & quot; Preparing these cars took a long time and a double effort to meet the vision of the creative director Marwan Hamid and under the supervision of the able decoration engineer Basil Hossam. It was required for specific models that needed accurate maintenance, and fortunately, filming the film took three years, which gave us enough time to implement all the details and even the training of the two stars Ahmed Ezz and Sayed Ragab to drive these old cars that are very different from modern cars. & quot; With the decrease in the production of historical works or that revolves in the past, the demand for our cars is naturally less & quot, Ayman says. & quot; But our passion for this field and our keenness to preserve this artistic legacy drives us to continue and provide our best. Just holders, but rather silent witnesses to the creativity of past generations and a unique link between two times, which preserves it with the love and sincerity of the family & quot;
