Cancellation of the “White” friendlies against Armenia and the Faroe Islands during the Abu Dhabi camp

Yesterday evening, Monday evening, the first national football team launched its internal gathering in the capital, Abu Dhabi, as part of the international break that lasts until the 30th of this month. The team performed its first training session at Zayed Sports City Stadium, under the leadership of Romanian coach Cosmin Olario and his assistant technical staff.

The Football Association announced, through its official account on the “X” platform, that the national team will only perform training sessions during the current camp, without playing any friendly international matches.

The national team was scheduled to play two friendly matches against the national teams of Armenia and the Faroe Islands on the 26th and 30th of this month, before they were cancelled.

The Football Association explained that the “White” list in the current camp includes: Ali Khasif, Hamad Al-Muqbali, Adel Al-Hosani, Badr Nasser, Richard O’Connor, Joao Pedro Lima, Sascha Ivkovic, Khalifa Al-Hammadi, Leonardo Ameseki, Mohamed Rabie, Guilherme Dasilva, Ali Saleh, Abdullah Hamad, Mohamed Abbas, Mamadou Coulibaly, Issam Fayez, Yahya Nader, Nicholas Jimenez, Yahya. Al-Ghassani, Harib Abdullah, Othman Kamara, Youri Cesar, and Bruno Oliveira.

The technical staff decided to include Baniyas Club player, Suhail Al Noubi, in the list, while Al Jazira Club player, Marcos Meloni, was excluded due to the injury he suffered during his participation with his club, and his need for treatment and rest.
