In 5 fields .. “Saudi Arabia rows” documents the arts of the Eastern and Western Region

The Music Authority announced the launch of the third phase of the “Saudi Arabia” program to preserve the Saudi music heritage, by inventory and integrated scientific documentation.
It includes five musical arts in the eastern and western regions, namely: the art of sound, the art of lust, the art of Danat, the art of Al -Yanbawi, and the art of the sensor. The work of the program at this stage includes conducting office research and field inventory, to document the chosen musical arts.

Documentation of cultural heritage and its digital architecture

It depends on its basis on the methodology of “the evidence of documenting cultural heritage and its digital archiving” issued by the Ministry of Culture, and is committed to the standards of UNESCO to study the musical, cultural and social characteristics of these arts, and preserve them according to the highest documentation standards.
Through the “Saudi Arabia” program, the authority is working to record and photograph documented arts, and produce visual, auditory, and written materials; To provide an integrated and reliable source for researchers and scholars in the field of music sciences, and contribute to enriching research content and cultural studies.
These materials include music blogging, motor blogging, documentaries, and performance videos of each art.

The stages of the “Tars” program

“Music” was completed in cooperation with the theater and performance arts Authority, the Heritage Authority, and the Center for Culture Memory several stages of the “Tars” program.
It included documenting the art of sewage, and comprehensive trips and documentation of musical and performance arts in the Asir and Al -Baha regions.
During these stages, more than 10,000 documentary materials were produced, some of which were provided to the public by publishing 59 documentary films on a witness platform.

The “Saudi Arabia” program aims in its various stages to limit the musical heritage in various regions of the Kingdom, and document it in its various colors and characteristics of melodies and rhythms.
This is to ensure its continuity and transmission between generations, which enhances the Saudi cultural identity by showing rich musical diversity and highlighting its role in forming the Saudi cultural heritage.
