750 players and players in the Dubai Open Gymnastics Academies
Dubai, May 20/ WAM/ The Dubai Open Championship for Gymnastics Academies, one of the largest championships specializing in gymnastics at the region level next Friday and will last for three days.
The tournament will be held in cooperation with the Dubai Sports Council at the “Stamina 11” Center in Dubai Studios, with the participation of more than 750 players from 16 specialized academies, along with clubs from Kuwait, Qatar and Kenya, which reflects the increasing regional and international interest in this sport.
The championship is witnessing the participation of the Olympic Champion Victoria Lesonova, who won the gold medal in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and the European Games three times, as a guest of honor, in addition to the participation of the Egyptian player Sherine Al -Zaini, who qualified for the Olympic Games three times in the artistic gymnastics.
The age groups of the participants in the championship range from 5 and 15 years, which contributes to the discovery and refinement of promising talent skills in its early stages, and enhances the spread of gymnastics in the UAE and the region.
