Signature of an executive program to enhance cultural cooperation between the Kingdom and France

The Saudi Museums Authority has signed an executive program to cooperate with the city of music “Valharmoni Paris” in France, with the aim of strengthening the cultural partnership between the two countries and developing joint projects in the fields of museums and music.

The program was signed between the CEO assigned to the Museums Authority, Ibrahim bin Ahmed Al -Senussi, and the CEO of Philharmoni Paris, Olivier Manti.

The program includes a number of areas of cooperation, the most prominent of which are: exchanging loan of historical pieces and musical instruments, organizing mobile art exhibitions, in addition to holding workshops and musical events in the Tariq Abdel Hakim Museum in the historic Jeddah.

Scientific publishing fields

The program also includes developing specialized training programs and implementing educational initiatives for children and families aimed at enhancing musical awareness.

The cooperation also includes the exchange of experiences and the hosting of researchers and experts from both sides, as well as organizing specialized seminars and seminars, and cooperation in the fields of scientific publishing related to technical exhibitions.

Ibrahim Al -Senussi stressed that the signing of the program represents an important step in documenting cultural relations with France, pointing to the role of music in shaping the cultural identity, and the importance of developing museums to be educational and interactive platforms.

Technical and societal dialogue

For his part, Olivier Manta expressed his pride in this cooperation, considering him an embodiment of the spirit of cultural exchange between the two countries, and expressed his aspiration for future projects that enhance artistic and community dialogue.

This program comes as an extension of the memorandum of cultural understanding signed between the ministries of culture in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of France, which aims to support bilateral cooperation in the areas of culture and arts, within the goals of the Saudi Vision 2030.
