The National Water Company, represented by the Western sector, announced the completion of the implementation of “18” capital and operating projects in the city of Makkah Al -Mukarramah and the Holy Places at a financial cost approximately 400 million riyals, as part of its plans to enhance infrastructure in the water and environmental services sectors, and increase coverage rates to serve the population and visitors and guests of Rahman during the Hajj season 1446 AH and the coming years.

Raise operational efficiency

The company explained that these projects will contribute to raising operational efficiency, supporting water supplies, rehabilitating some water tanks, pumps, network control systems, raising the efficiency of the fire and refrigeration network, supporting the instant monitoring of water quality, activating pre -emptive measures, increasing the capacity of water and sanitation distribution lines, and improving network efficiency in Makkah Al -Mukarramah and the Holy Places.

Development of tanks and water networks

She indicated that capital projects included projects to develop and rehabilitate a number of water tanks in Makkah and the holy sites, as well as implementing an iron tank with a capacity of “190 thousand m3”, in addition to implementing major lines projects, lock rooms and networks to enhance supply and control water networks with various sites in the holy sites, and projects to control pressure on the main lines in Makkah in order to raise operational efficiency and guarantee The sustainability of the distribution, with an increase in the reliability and reliability of the network, especially during peak times.

Imported operational projects

The company stated that it worked to enhance its operational system in the Holy Places by implementing a package of operational projects that included the installation of devices and meters of pressure and quantities of water, and the sensors of water and sanitation networks, in addition to implementing projects to replace operating tank pumps, and replace water and fire networks, in order to improve the efficiency of the main assets of water and sanitation networks, fire, cooling and control networks With it, and monitor its levels to ensure the provision of the finest services to the guests of Rahman during the Hajj season.
