المملكة: 20 thousand beneficiaries .. Two new water projects in Asir with 60 million riyals
Its total cost exceeded 60 million riyals, in the framework of supporting the tourist season and enhancing the water infrastructure in the region.
Water projects in Saudi Arabia
The company confirmed that the projects were implemented according to the approved time schedules, in response to the increasing demand for water, and in order to improve the quality of services provided to the population and visitors. The two projects target more than 20 thousand beneficiaries in the two cities.
The company explained that the first project included the establishment of water networks in the city of Abha serving eight main neighborhoods: Al -Hayam, Al -Khalidiya, Al -Utharan, Al -Zamil, Al -Alaya Palace, Al -Araini, and the villages of Al -Youssef, at a cost of more than 35 million riyals.
The total lengths of the executing networks reached 55,700 meters longitudinal, in addition to a 15,170 -meter transmission line, and a pumping station with a capacity of more than 1.2 thousand cubic meters per day, benefiting more than 10 thousand people.
Water projects in Asir
As for the second project, it targets six neighborhoods in the city of Khamis Mushait, namely: envelope, housing, at times, hospitality, Al -Yamamah, and Atoud, by implementing water networks with various diameters.
This is with a total length of 60 thousand meters longitudinal, at a cost exceeding 24 million riyals, to feed about 10,000 beneficiaries, within the framework of the project to develop water networks east of Abha.
The company pointed out that these projects are an extension of its continuous efforts to raise the efficiency of operation and enhance the water distribution system, in order to achieve water security and contribute to providing sustainable water services at the Kingdom level, according to the highest quality standards.
