Kalba Literary Council hosts a group of Emirates poets
Kalba on May 22 / WAM / The Kalba Literary Council organized this evening a poetry readings program within a distinguished cultural evening in the presence of Sheikh Haitham bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Vice -President of the Ruler’s Office in the Kalba region, as part of the Council of Cultural Council, which hosted the poet Mohammed Al -Sharif and the poet Saif Al -Ghamri.
The council started with national poems that contained vocabulary from the local environment, which is distinguished by the authentic Emirati dialect, and the evening witnessed a wide interaction from the public.
The council was also attended by His Excellency Dr. Obaid Saif Al -Zaabi, the head of the Municipal Council in Kalbaa, His Excellency Rashid Al -Zaabi, Director of the Eastern Region Department of the Department of Culture, and His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Saeed Al Mazrouei, Director of the Municipality of Kalba City
