Alia Al Mazrouei is looking to enhance cooperation in the field of entrepreneurship with Germany, the European Union and the Czechs

Abu Dhabi, May 23/ WAM/ His Excellency Alia Bint Abdullah Al Mazrouei, Minister of State for Entrepreneurship, with ministers and government officials in the European Union, Germany and Czechs, discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation and explore new opportunities to develop entrepreneurship and support the growth of small and medium -sized companies, in a way that contributes to enhancing sustainable economic development and expanding the horizons of international partnerships, and reaching them to higher levels of coordination during the next stage.

This came during her visit to Germany to participate in the “GITEX Europe” exhibition, in which a set of high -level bilateral meetings were held with each of, His Excellency Dr. Carretten Welldberger, Minister of Digitalization and State Modernization of the Federal Republic Trading in the Czech Republic and Kay Vigner, mayor of Berlin and Andreas Shefarts, a representative of the European sentence of startups, research and innovation, in the presence of His Excellency Imran Sharaf, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Advanced Science and Technology Affairs; And His Excellency Mohamed Abdel -Rahman Al -Hawi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Investment, His Excellency Ahmed Al -Attar, the country’s ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany.

His Excellency Alia Al Mazrouei confirmed during her meeting with His Excellency Dr. Carrestin Fieldberger, Minister of Digitalization and State Upgrading in Germany, that the UAE, thanks to the vision and directives of the rational leadership, adopts an approach based on openness and international cooperation and continues to expand its strategic partnerships with various countries of the world, noting that Germany and the UAE are united by strong strategic economic relations that witness accelerated growth and enjoy a common vision To expand the horizons of partnership between the business community in the two friendly countries.

His Excellency Alia Al Mazrouei said: “We are keen to enhance cooperation with the German government in developing digital technologies in a way that contributes to building a flexible and innovative knowledge economy, and we look at interest to the exchange of experiences with Germany with its leading experiences in digital transformation and the development of technical infrastructure, in order to support the growth of small and medium companies.

Her Excellency added that the UAE has made advanced strides in building a comprehensive digital system, developing national strategies that support innovation and entrepreneurship, and provides a flexible business environment based on smart legislation, stressing that the meeting was an opportunity to discuss joint initiatives and exchange programs that enhance bilateral cooperation and support the growth of startups and innovative projects in the two countries.

Her Excellency said during her meeting, His Excellency Gita Koniman, Minister of State and Government, to small and medium -sized companies at the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Work in Germany that the business environment in the UAE and Germany has advanced capabilities in the areas of innovation, entrepreneurship and advanced technologies, which enhances their place of attraction and attracting quality investments in the Middle East and Europe, and this convergence in visions represents an ideal opportunity to build Strategic partnerships that support the transfer of knowledge and the development of innovative projects, and open new horizons for startups in the two countries.

She explained that the UAE has paid great attention to the entrepreneurial sector as one of the most important vital sectors for the growth and sustainability of the economy of the UAE, as it made great strides to develop a competitive and attractive business environment that supports the growth of startups, small and medium -sized companies, calling on the German business community and companies to take advantage of the advantages and incentives offered by the national economy, to grow and expand the UAE markets, the Middle East and Africa region.

Her Excellency reviewed the most prominent possibilities provided by the Emirati business environment, such as the “leadership” system that supports the national entrepreneurial environment, and provides a package of incentives and programs to enable entrepreneurs and enhance their contribution to achieving sustainable economic development.

In the same context, His Excellency Alia Al Mazrouei stressed, during her meeting with Berlin’s mayor, the importance of continuing to develop new and effective channels to exchange experiences and best practices, especially in supporting the growth of startups and expanding their business in global markets.

The two parties discussed the possibility of establishing joint programs to enhance innovation and develop sustainable technological solutions, which contributes to achieving sustainable economic development and enhancing competitiveness in the two countries.

His Excellency Alia Al Mazrouei, during her meeting with His Excellency Yan Cavalierk, Vice Minister of Industry and Trade, discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation in supporting the new economy sectors and developing motivated programs for entrepreneurship, especially in innovation and advanced technology.

She explained that the Czech Republic has a leading experience in developing the innovation system and supporting small and medium -sized companies, stressing the UAE’s keenness to exchange experiences and develop practical programs that contribute to facilitating the business environment and stimulating the growth of startups.

The two sides discussed cooperation opportunities in the fields of green economy and smart industrial transformation, and exploring new horizons for cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence and developing entrepreneurship activities based on modern technology.

During her meeting with Andreas Schwarts, a representative of the European negotiation of startups, research and innovation, its Excellency affirmed that the UAE continues to work on developing a competitive business environment that contributes to attracting specific investments and stimulating innovation, noting that the UAE has achieved pioneering achievements issued by the Global Entrepreneurship Index for the fourth year in a row.

Her Excellency added: “We look forward to building strategic partnerships with the European Union to enhance investment in the areas of advanced technology and artificial intelligence, expand the prospects for cooperation in scientific research, and develop policies and legislation supporting digital activities to support the entrepreneurial environment and believe in the importance of exchanging best practices in the areas of facilitating business.”

On the sidelines of her visit to the “GITEX Europe” exhibition, His Excellency Alia Bint Abdullah Al Mazrouei witnessed the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Economy and UBQT, with the aim of employing modern technology to support the entrepreneurial system and enhance communication between entrepreneurs and investors, by establishing the development of specialized digital platforms that contribute to expanding the professional relations network locally and globally.

According to this partnership, UBQT will establish dedicated societies within the application for all initiatives of the Ministry of Economy. This innovative platform will contribute to promoting actual communication between members of these societies during official events, bilateral meetings, while traveling within the UAE and around the world, and providing smart and intended proposals for communication and mentioning the expected meetings.

As the Ministry of Economy is organizing global events, UBQT technologies will help ensure that entrepreneurs and professionals remain in constant and direct contact.
