Al -Ahlia organizes the “Charitable Art auction” with student and societal participation

In confirmation of its pioneering role in serving the community, the National University will organize at seven in the evening on Saturday, May 24, 2025, the “Charitable Art auction” event in the graduate club in the Adliya region, under the auspices of Professor Abdullah Al -Hawaj, the founding president of the university’s board of trustees.

The event is launched by the organization of the College of Arts and Sciences, and under the supervision of Dr. Amani Al -Aali, Chairman of the Community Media and Communication Committee, in cooperation with the Association “Our Responsibility” headed by Mrs. Riana Sayar, and with the support of His Excellency Deputy Hassan Ibrahim, and with the technical participation of the ARTFUL Foundation and the Bahrain Association of Contemporary Art.

The auction aims to support humanitarian initiatives that include the restoration of the housing of needy families, the provision of academic support and orphans, by harnessing technical creativity in community service.

The auction is witnessing the presentation of artworks for prominent Bahraini artists, as well as the product of the ARTFUL workshop in which the National University students participated in strengthening their role in integrating art and volunteer work.

This event comes as a continuation of previous initiatives during which university students, in cooperation with their partners, succeeded in implementing a project to restore a house for a needy family, reflecting the university’s commitment to linking knowledge and community practice.

The NGO, through this auction, confirms its position as an educational institution that embraces creativity and instills in its students the spirit of responsibility and initiative.
