Hamdan bin Mohammed meets more than 100 members of the distinguished national and reserve service in the elite program

Dubai, May 23/ WAM/ His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, confirmed that preparing an Emirati generation that possesses future tools and is good at employing them in the service of the country represents a basic pillar in our country’s strategy to build a sustainable knowledge economy, loaded with science and knowledge, and the ability to transform ideas into influential achievements that serve society and enhance the state’s regional and global status.
He said, “Our wise leadership is betting on the minds before the resources, and it believes that investing in man is the most sustainable and influential strategic choice, and what we see today from national innovations within various sectors, proves that the children of the Emirates are able not only to keep pace with global transformations in the fields of technology, but to lead and formulate its future.”
This came during the meeting of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, with more than 100 members of the national and reserve service within the “Elite” program, which was organized by the National and Reserve Service Authority under the auspices and presence of His Excellency Major General Pilot Sheikh Ahmed bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, in cooperation with the Office of Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Labor Applications, Dubai Foundation for the future, Khalifa University to create An advanced model that enhances a knowledge -based economy and building distinguished talents capable of innovation and leadership in a rapidly shift world.
The meeting, which took place in the Emirates Towers, was attended by His Excellency Omar Sultan Al -Ulama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Labor Applications, Major General Rashid Mohammed Al Shamsi, Commander of the Air Force, His Excellency Khalfan Balhoul, CEO of Dubai Future Foundation, His Excellency Dr. Ibrahim Saeed Al -Hajri, President of Khalifa University of Science and Technology and a number of senior officers of the Ministry of Defense.
Distinctive projects.
During the meeting, the Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, reviewed a number of distinguished projects developed by distinguished national cadres within the sectors of aviation, smart robots, data science, blockchain, biotechnology, advanced water technology, in addition to communications, information, nuclear energy and space after training them intensively within a program that lasted for several months in the areas of advanced and sustainable technology to reflect the commitment of the UAE to rehabilitate National competencies in the fields of technology, where they were provided with basic knowledge and practical skills necessary to deal with future opportunities and challenges.
His Highness also listened to the associates to an explanation about some of the models of graduation projects that were developed with national hands, including a project to develop an effective cooling system for protected agricultural homes and a project to explore nanochetics and natural fibers extracted from biomedus, marine, food and agricultural waste, to produce fire -resistant material and the project of developing satellite guidance technology in space, and a strict project, which has developed “A robot” moves on rugged surfaces in the desert and the project of the “E Maps”, which is a smart system to monitor and track the movement of navigation on the coasts of the state and monitor any suspicious movements using artificial intelligence technologies, and the project of the industrial respiratory system “M61”, building an artificial respiratory system that enhances the local inventory of respirators during the Kofid-19 pandemic.
During the elite program, the associates developed their software skills and their research skills and study of the feasibility of engineering projects, design and manufacture of electromechanical devices and the preparation of engineering plans for designing technical devices and developing smart systems for monitoring and control, conducting engineering tests for systems, driving skills, teamwork and discourse, preparing presentations, stimulating critical thinking, scientific research and the application of theoretical knowledge in Practical projects.
Since its foundation in 2019, the elite program has emerged more than 200 distinguished recruits within 14 different batch after a delicate and intensive selection process to choose an elite group of expert competencies in the technological fields to join the program, and all the associates were employed after the first months of their graduation from the program by 100%, highlighting the strategic importance of such national partnerships in preparing a young generation that is able to use future tools and modern technologies, And enabling them to contribute effectively to enhancing the state’s competitiveness and leadership in the vital sectors.
