Carry out the first surgery for the retina in Al -Ain Central Hospital

The medical team at the Qatif Central Hospital of Al -Qatif Health Network, one of the components of Al -Sharqiya Healthy Collection, succeeded in performing the first advanced network surgery. The medical team began a single -eye patient, who suffers from other eye loss after a chain of operations in a specialized hospital, as he complained of advanced complications of diabetes represented in severe white water and bleeding in the retina and the glass fluid and a retina pier With success – praise be to God – and contributed to saving the only eye of the patient and maintaining his eyesight.

This achievement comes within the development witnessed by the services of ophthalmology in the hospital after the establishment of the eye injection unit in 2022 AD – and the consequent introduction of white water operations (Victo) in the same year under the supervision of a group of ophthalmology consultants who had the role in the success of the development operations to establish a unit specialized in network operations.
