Al -Qassim’s healthy gathering launches the “Diabetic Foot Examination” initiative

Al -Qassim’s health gathering launched the “Diabetic Foot Examination for Pilgrims” initiative, to serve diabetics from the guests of Rahman who wish to perform the rituals of Hajj, with the aim of providing pre -emptive and safe health care for pilgrims, and providing a healthy environment supportive to perform their rituals safely and reassures. One of the most effective reasons for the injured person’s ability to move and move, especially in the Hajj environment, which requires a double physical effort.

He indicated that the initiative includes the provision of specialized medical examinations for early detection of diabetic foot problems, in addition to educational awareness programs that explain the methods of prevention and daily care methods of foot, which contributes to reducing the rates of complications, and raising the level of health awareness among pilgrims.

The assembly indicated that the service is offered in a number of specialized health centers affiliated with the gathering, namely: Sheikh Fahd Al -Owaidah Center for Sugar Foot in Buraidah, the Sugar Center at King Saud Hospital in Unaizah Governorate, the Sugar Center at the General Hospital, and these centers were prepared with qualified cadres and equipment necessary to receive pilgrims and provide optimal care for them.

The Qassim Health Gathering confirmed that the launch of this initiative comes within a series of preventive programs that it implements in preparation for the Hajj season, and embodies his keenness to facilitate the pilgrimage journey for patients with chronic diseases, by ensuring the availability of specialized medical services that touched their needs, and support their ability to perform the rituals with comfort, health and safety.
