"I am satisfied with Abu Dhabi" It launches an initiative "Skirt" To enhance national identity and community health within "The general community"

Abu Dhabi, May 25/ WAM/ “Ace Abu Dhabi” affiliated with the Emirates Foundation, the National Initiative “Persian” during an introductory workshop held at the Foundation’s headquarters in the Canal area in Abu Dhabi, in the presence of representatives of government agencies, community institutions and media and logistical partners, in the framework of integrated national efforts to support community initiatives during the year 2025 which was devoted to be the “year of society.”
The workshop witnessed an active participation of a number of concerned authorities, including the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority, the Department of Education and Knowledge – Abu Dhabi, the Abu Dhabi Media Office, the Community Development Department – Abu Dhabi, the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, the Environment Authority – Abu Dhabi, the Ministry of Defense, the “Nafs” program, the Abu Dhabi News Network, the National Center for Search and Rescue, Burjahth, Abu Dhabi Media, Archive and the National Library, Federal Center for Geographical Information, and Abu Dhabi Police, as well as a number of academic institutions and private sector partners.

The workshop reviewed the opportunities for cooperation and integration between government and private agencies, and highlighted the importance of media, logistical and cultural roles in supporting the initiative.
The “Persian” is a unique initiative that embodies a national vision aimed at instilling the authentic Emirati values ​​in the hearts of youth, and evoking the features of life that the founding fathers lived through a field journey linking culture, identity and physical activity.
The initiative reflects the commitment of the Emirates Foundation to consolidate the concepts of belonging and societal responsibility, through live experiences that reinstate the new generation with its historical and cultural roots, and introduce it to the features of its natural and human environment in a modern and inspiring style.
His Excellency Ahmed Talib Al -Shamsi, CEO of the Emirates Foundation, said that the (Persian) initiative embodies the vision that we believe in in the Emirates Foundation, where we consider that real empowerment begins with belonging, and that community partnerships are the main driver for the industry of positive change, we are proud of everyone who contributes to converting this idea into a national experience that beats with pride and commitment.
For his part, Mansour Al Dhaheri, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the “Actafi Abu Dhabi” initiative, said that “a skybage is not just an initiative, but a message for every young man and a young woman that our past is an inspiration for our future, and that health is not only in the body, but also in the spirit associated with a firm identity and authentic societal awareness”, describing the initiative as embodying the essence of (Act Abu Dhabi) and translating his vision on the ground.
“Persian” is consistent with the national priorities aimed at building a more interconnected, coherent, and combined society, such as walking and camel riding, and the heritage experience that mimics the life patterns of grandparents in the desert environment, which enhances the youth’s understanding of their culture, and moves in them feelings of pride and association with the homeland.
Participants in the “Persian” experience travel up to 1,000 km across the various natural environments in the UAE, in a daily path that simulates old transport trips, and enhances the spirit of patience, discipline and cooperation between the participants.
Within the “Year of Society”, a “platform” is a practical platform to translate the goals of the year into realistic steps in order to enable young people to be ambassadors of the national identity, and pioneers in transferring knowledge and values ​​to future generations through a rich experience that employ their physical, psychological and cultural capabilities.
The initiative is not only limited to the concept of the trip as a geographical prohibition, but rather a journey in awareness, belonging and civilized interaction, and it shows the ability of young people to absorb the past and invest it in favor of the future and opens a door for community participation through events, cultural novel and media interaction.
