An accurate and laparoscopic quality process ends the suffering

A medical team at Al -Bukayriyah General Hospital, one of the components of the Qassim Health Gathering, performed a precise and successful manner of laparoscopic for a 32 -year -old patient, who was suffering from severe obstruction in the intestine, and had a previous history with “Crohns” disease. Cutting rays with dye, x -rays and laboratory analyzes, which showed a small intestine blockage and a calcified mass suspected of bitter stones or a Lechobezoar.

After evaluating the case by the surgical team, it was decided to intervene urgently through the endoscope, where the abdomen was explored and a limited surgical opening was performed in the Enterotomy to extract the block that causes the blockage, then the opening is closed using endoscopic technology, without the need for full surgical opening.

The operation took about an hour and a half, and it was successful – praise be to God – without complications, and the patient was discharged from the hospital in good health after the stability of his condition, while continuing to follow up through the outpatient clinics.
